In a recent interview, Malti opened up about her horrific casting couch experience, saying it left her deeply shaken and traumatized.

The director crossed the limits

Malathi spoke extensively on the show about her journey and the challenges she faced as an actress in the showbiz industry. She candidly told host Siddharth Kannan that her journey in the industry wasn't as easy as it seemed. She also recounted an incident when an elderly filmmaker tried to overstep his bounds while speaking to her.

People understand through body language

Talking about her experiences with the casting couch, Malti said that such incidents do happen in the industry. "Yes, it does happen sometimes. People can try their luck once or twice," she said. She further added that many people can judge a person's limitations based on their body language. "People here are very intelligent. They understand your temperament and body language. A couple of people crossed the line, one even behaved rudely, but most people understood my limitations."

Malti further said that I was working with a famous director. I used to meet him many times for work. But once, after work was over, I hugged him, that too from the side because he was of my father's age, but what I saw was that he suddenly tried to kiss me on the lips in return. I could not understand what happened, he is quite old, yet I corrected him. After this, I never met him again. But I would like to say this that do not consider anyone as your father, stay away from everyone. But at that time I was very angry.
