• The broom is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. Buying a new broom on this day helps remove poverty from the home.
• Buying coriander seeds on this day leads to immense increase in wealth.
• On this day, Lord Dhanvantari should be worshipped in the evening during Pradosh Kaal. This blesses the family with good health.
