Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's troubles in the excise policy case do not seem to end. In the latest case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday filed a chargesheet against Arvind Kejriwal and others in the Rouse Avenue Court.
The central agency filed the chargesheet before a special CBI court at Rouse Avenue, officials said. The chargesheet is part of an ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in the high-profile liquor case.
The chargesheet has been filed in the court of Special Judge Kaveri Baveja. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had filed a chargesheet of about 200 pages against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party.

It is noteworthy that recently the Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case registered by ED, but he is still in jail, as CBI arrested him in the related case.

Earlier on Friday, the Aam Aadmi Party had said that Kejriwal was being treated like a 'political prisoner'. The party asserted that the party supremo's sugar level dropped below 50 about 34 times between June 3 and July 7. Addressing a press conference, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak had alleged that Kejriwal was the victim of a 'conspiracy'.
