News Topical, Digital Desk : Heavy rains in various parts of Delhi and the NCR have brought significant relief. The cool breeze and showers brought relief to those suffering from the humidity and heat of the past few days. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Delhi on Thursday is expected to be 22.8 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees below normal. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department predicts a cloudy sky in Delhi-NCR on Thursday. Light rain or drizzle is also possible. Thunderstorms and light rain are also likely at many places.

During this time, winds will also blow strongly, reaching speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and, in some places, up to 50 kilometers per hour. This could lead to sudden changes in the weather.

Three days of rain break

Following this spell of rain, the weather in Delhi-NCR will remain dry on October 3, 4, and 5. Rain is not expected on these three days. However, mild sunshine and cool breezes will keep the weather pleasant.

New western disturbance from October 4

The Meteorological Department has warned that a new and intense western disturbance will affect northwest India from October 4th. Its impact could be felt in areas like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and western Uttar Pradesh. It is expected that this system will be stronger than the previous one and could cause heavy rain and strong winds in many areas.

The low pressure formed in the Arabian Sea is also effective

According to meteorologists, a low-pressure area has formed over the northeastern Arabian Sea and near the Saurashtra coast. The associated cyclonic circulation extends from eastern Rajasthan to southwest Uttar Pradesh. This is also affecting the weather in the plains. This is the reason why the weather across North India, including Delhi-NCR, is constantly changing.
