According to information received from the police, at around 10:14 pm on Sunday night, the Trauma Centre, Civil Lines, received information that a young man, Aryan (17), a resident of Gali No. 4, Jahangirpuri, was admitted after being shot. According to the MLC, his condition was stated to be critical.

Aryan was hit by two bullets in the firing

Neetu, an eyewitness to the incident and mother of the injured, said that she was standing on the footpath near the footover bridge in Azadpur with her son Aryan, relatives Ranjita and Nikhil. They were preparing to return home when three boys from Jahangirpuri, Laddu, Shamsher and Shanu, suddenly arrived there with weapons in their hands and started firing. Aryan was hit by two bullets in this firing.

Case registered under BNS and Arms Act

After the incident, Aryan was immediately taken to the trauma center with the help of the staff of Azadpur police station present on the spot. The crime team and forensic team were called on the spot and evidence was collected.

In this case, a case has been registered under BNS and Arms Act. At present, the search for the three accused is going on and the police has claimed that they will be arrested soon. The police is also investigating whether the three accused were known to the family members beforehand. More will be revealed in this case only after interrogation.
