Deepika Padukone told the real value of actresses in cinema, said- 'Now they are not just decorations'

Actresses are no longer seen as mere decorations in films, says actress Deepika Padukone. Deepika, who returned to work after the birth of her daughter last year, said during a photoshoot-

'There is a change in the kind of characters I see today and when I started working. This has inspired me more, which is why I am able to bring out different characters. Earlier, in many roles, women were just a decoration, they were given a chance to do a little comedy. Today, women characters have their own perspective, they have their own voice, which wants to bring about change.

I have seen this change in my career. I have been a part of this change. The leading actresses of Indian cinema have come a long way to reach where we are today. This has changed after several decades. I am aware that the choices I make affect people.

Deepika Padukone will make a comeback with this film 

Deepika Padukone has been on a break from acting for a long time due to the birth of her first child. Fans are eagerly waiting for her comeback. If we look at her upcoming movie, its name is Spirit, in which she will be seen opposite South superstar Prabhas.

There are reports that Deepika has charged Rs 20 crore for this film. However, there is no official confirmation of this. If this is true then it will be thrilling for the fans to see Deepika and Prabhas together on screen.
