Actually, Jeffrey Vandersay is an experienced leg spinner of the Sri Lankan team. 34-year-old Jeffrey made his debut for Sri Lanka in 2015. He has played 22 ODIs, 14 T20s and one Test match for Sri Lanka so far. He has taken 27 wickets in ODIs, 7 wickets in T20s and two wickets in Tests.
Jeffrey was included in the Sri Lankan squad when Wanindu Hasaranga was ruled out of the entire series due to a hamstring injury. He got a place in the playing-11 in the second ODI and he took full advantage of this opportunity.
