It also marks the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and the country's second Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended Dussehra greetings to all residents of the state.
Extending Dussehra greetings, CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Heartiest congratulations to all devotees and residents of the state on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, a sacred festival symbolizing the eternal victory of truth, righteousness, culture, morality, and eternal values! May every heart be illuminated by the light of righteousness and truth by the grace of Lord Shri Ram. Jai Siyavar Ramchandra."
Best wishes for the festival of Dussehra
CM Yogi offered flowers today on the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. On this occasion, CM Yogi congratulated all the citizens of the state on Vijayadashami and said that today is the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The Indian independence movement, led by Mahatma Gandhi, bears testimony to the power of truth and non-violence.
