News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will travel to Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, on Sunday (December 7th) following the death of his brother-in-law, Om Prakash Singh Rawat. Om Prakash Singh Rawat, a resident of Gadi Ghat, Siddhbali Road, Kotdwar, was the husband of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's elder sister, Kaushalya Rawat. CM Yogi's visit is scheduled to attend the family's condolences.

According to the official schedule released by the Chief Minister's Office, Lucknow, CM Yogi will depart for Uttarakhand by helicopter on December 7th. He is scheduled to arrive at the helipad in Kotdwar (Garisainganj) at around 3:30 pm. From there, he will travel to Om Prakash Singh Rawat's residence, where he will meet with the family and express his condolences.

CM Yogi will stay for half an hour

According to the official itinerary, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to spend approximately half an hour in Kotdwar. He will then depart Kotdwar by helicopter for Saharanpur around 4:00 pm. He will return to Lucknow late in the evening. During this time, he is not scheduled to meet anyone other than his family. The local police administration has been alerted.

The death of Om Prakash Singh Rawat has brought grief to the Rawat family and the local area. People from Kotdwar and surrounding areas are reaching out to offer condolences.
