News Topical, Digital Desk : Politics is heating up in Maharashtra these days. On Tuesday (September 16), Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while sounding the bugle for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, targeted the Shiv Sena (United Front) and party chief Uddhav Thackeray. He took a dig at Thackeray by singing a song. Following this, the opposition has retaliated against the Chief Minister. Sharad Pawar-led MP Supriya Sule has said that the Chief Minister should not make such remarks.

In fact, on Tuesday (September 16), at the "Vijay Sankalp Melava" event, CM Devendra Fadnavis said that in the last BMC elections, the BJP was in a position to elect its own mayor, but we, with a strong heart, left the post to the then-Uddhav Thackeray Shiv Sena. CM Fadnavis even sang a song about "infidelity" for Uddhav Thackeray and even called him a "shroud thief."

Uddhav faction responded to the song with a song.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena UBT responded to the Chief Minister by singing a song similar to his own. Anand Dubey, a leader of Uddhav Thackeray's party, said that we have the Brahmaas missile. From the Supreme Court to the WHO, our work has been praised. He sang, "A friend has done what the enemy cannot do, and has rewarded us with a lifetime of sorrow. The BJP will not win this election. We fear that they don't even have the courage to hold elections, and we like this fear. No matter how many songs you sing, saffron will always fly in the BMC."

'This was not expected from the CM'

Along with this, senior leader of Sharad faction Supriya Sule said on this statement of Uddhav faction, "The Chief Minister should not say such things. And as far as the scam is concerned, he should form a team to investigate. The Chief Minister should think before speaking, because if the scam happened during that time, then some ministers and leaders of that time are with you now, so have they become right? This was not expected from Devendra Fadnavis."
