Chhattisgarh News: A minor argument in Durg escalated into a bloody brawl, with the wife and step-sons killing their father with a shovel.:

News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrific incident has occurred in Ahiwara, under the Nandini Nagar police station area of Durg district. A woman named Meeravati had left her husband Balwinder Singh and was living in a live-in relationship with someone else. On Tuesday night, when Balwinder arrived in Ahiwara to meet his wife, a minor argument escalated into a bloody fight, and Balwinder was murdered.

According to reports, Balwinder Singh was a resident of Baikunthdham and occasionally visited his wife, Meeravati, in Ahiwara. On Tuesday night (October 1), he went there to meet Meeravati, but an argument broke out between the two. During this, Meeravati's children, Trilochan Kosare and Bhupesh Kosare, who lived with her, became enraged and attacked Balwinder Singh.

Trilochan picked up a shovel from the courtyard and struck Balwinder on the head, while Bhupesh attacked him with a stick. Seriously injured, Balwinder collapsed, bleeding profusely, and died on the spot.

Neighbor gave information about the incident

Neighbor Arun Kumar Banjare, who heard screams from the house, rushed to the scene and found Balwinder lying on the ground. He immediately informed the police. The Nandini Nagar police station team immediately took action and arrested Trilochan and Bhupesh. The police also seized the shovel and stick used in the incident.

Confessed murder during interrogation

Police interrogated both step-sons, who confessed to the murder. Both were produced in court and remanded in custody. Durg Rural Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Jha stated that the incident stemmed from domestic discord and tensions arising from an illicit relationship.

The Nandini Nagar police station is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Police officials say that domestic discord and an illicit relationship have clearly emerged as the motives behind the incident.

Police said that further investigation will also include the family of the deceased Balwinder and other information so that the entire truth can be revealed.
