News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump is trying to stop the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. However, he does not seem to be getting any signs of this. Meanwhile, Trump has said that he is a little disappointed but has not given up yet.

The US President has given Russia 50 days to end the war with Ukraine. If Russia does not do so, 100 percent tariff will be imposed on it. On the other hand, Trump is also provoking Ukraine to attack Russia.

Offer to give long range weapons to Ukraine

In fact, according to the report of Financial Express, on July 4, Donald Trump had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and during this he proposed to give long-range weapons to Ukraine to attack big cities of Russia.

Trump reportedly asked Zelensky over the phone, "Volodymyr, can you attack Moscow? Can you attack St. Petersburg?" To which Zelensky replied, "Yes, of course. If you give us weapons, we can do it."

Will America give weapons to Ukraine?

However, it is still not clear whether the US will give such weapons to Ukraine or not. Meanwhile, Trump did say on Sunday that the US will send Patriot air defense missiles to Ukraine. He said that these missiles are necessary for the defense of the country, because Russian President Vladimir Putin talks well but bombs everyone in the evening.

'Putin must feel the pain'

Trump spoke to Zelensky after his conversation with Putin. He was convinced that Russia had no plan to stop this war. In fact, before becoming the President, Donald Trump had announced to stop this war in one day and he has not been successful in doing so till now. In such a situation, his disappointment is clearly visible through such statements.

Trump has indicated that his changing stance on Russia is aimed at making Putin feel pain and bringing the two countries to a negotiating table regarding the war.
