News Topical, Digital Desk : Anurag Kashyap's Nishaanchi is releasing alongside Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar's much-awaited Jolly LLB 3, and it seems this clash is hurting Jolly LLB 3. Nishaanchi is directed by Anurag Kashyap, who also made Gangs of Wasseypur.

nishanchi box office collection day 3

Despite receiving positive reviews from critics, Nishaanchi earned ₹25 lakh on its release day. This is only 2 percent of the collection of Jolly LLB 3, which earned ₹12.5 crore at the box office. Nishaanchi, starring new actors, was given around 807 shows across India, including 158 in Mumbai and 192 in Delhi-NCR. Meanwhile, Jolly LLB 3 had over 4000 shows across India.

On the second day, the film earned ₹3.9 million, while on the third day, it has earned ₹1.3 million, which is less than the previous two days. Even after combining the three days' earnings, the film has not yet earned ₹1 crore. Nishaanchi's overall Hindi gross on the third day was 8.35 percent.

The film will have to pick up pace

According to SacNilk, although the film opened with a mere ₹2.5 million, it's still better than Anurag Kashyap's 2023 DJ Mohabbat film, Almost Pyaar, which had a lifetime collection of just ₹2.5 million. If Nishaanchi fails to pick up steam over the weekend, it will be Anurag Kashyap's third consecutive flop, after Taapsee Pannu's Dobaaraa and Alaya F's Almost Pyaar.

Nishaanchi is a crime drama directed by Anurag Kashyap. It stars newcomers Aishwarya Thackeray, Monica Panwar, Vedika Pinto, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra. The story revolves around twin brothers torn between guilt and conscience, as love, luck, and the strength of their relationship are tested.
