Bulldozers run on the house of drug smugglers in Moga, Punjab, action against illegal encroachment:

Punjab News: Continuous action is being taken against drug smugglers in Punjab. In this episode, bulldozers were run on the houses of drug smugglers in Moga. The District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO) took bulldozer action against the illegal encroachment done by drug smugglers in Moga. Four such houses were demolished in Dolewala village in the presence of police personnel.

Bulldozers were run on the houses of four drug smugglers Paramjit Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Boota Singh, Rajwinder Kaur in Dolewala village of Moga. Giving information, Moga SSP Ajay Gandhi said, "DDPO Moga launched a campaign against illegal encroachment in Dolewala village. We have arranged for adequate number of police personnel to ensure that no law and order problem arises. When the records were checked, it came to light that four houses have been identified."

SSP further said, "Many cases are registered against those against whom the drive for illegal encroachment has been launched. FIRs have also been registered under the NDPS Act. Commercial NDPS cases are also registered against them. Drives have been launched against illegal encroachment on a total of four houses. Cases have been registered against four people. Among them, Buta Singh is currently in jail and 7 FIRs have been registered against him. Paramjit Singh is also currently in jail and 9 FIRs have been registered against him. Lakhwinder Singh alias Kaku, who is currently on bail, has 8 FIRs registered against him.

Strict action against those involved in drug trade- SSP

The police officer also said, "Ever since the Punjab government has started the 'War Against Drugs' against drug smugglers, strict legal action is being taken against many big drug smugglers. This campaign will continue in the future as well. Strictest legal action will be taken against anyone who is involved in the drug trade."
