News Topical, Digital Desk : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati will hold a major rally in Noida on December 6th. This day is celebrated nationwide as the death anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Mayawati's rally will not only be a tribute to Babasaheb but also a sign of upcoming political developments.
According to sources associated with Bahujan Samaj Party, through this rally Mayawati will once again demonstrate her political strength and will try to give the message to her opponents that the BSP cadre is still standing strongly with her.
Mayawati in action before 2027
According to party sources, Mayawati has become active well in advance of the 2027 UP Assembly elections. After a rally in Lucknow in October and five important meetings in Delhi in November, she is now on a mission to re-establish her foothold with a rally in Noida. Sources claim that this is just a trailer; Mayawati is already poised to return as the main character in the real picture.
It's worth noting that after forming a full-majority government in 2007, Mayawati's political activism gradually declined. This impact was clearly visible on the BSP's seat and vote share. The BSP, which won 206 seats and a 30.4% vote share in 2007, was reduced to 80 seats in 2012, 19 seats in 2017, and only one seat in 2022. Its vote share also steadily declined, reaching 13%.
Strategy to strengthen the party on the ground
In such a scenario, the 2027 elections are being seen as a battle for survival for the BSP. According to party insiders, Mayawati is now preparing to spend more time on the ground. She is reportedly planning to conduct night camps in all 18 divisions of Uttar Pradesh.
Previously, she had only undertaken such a campaign with founder Kanshi Ram, when she was building the organization by traveling from village to village on a bicycle. After a long time, she will return to the workers in the same old style. Night camps will not only mean meetings, but also spending day and night with the workers, understanding their problems, and inspiring them.
The series of rallies will start from next year
The party's strategy is to launch a series of rallies starting in February-March 2026 to ensure that no area is left out of reach. Mayawati is now also planning to emphasize a door-to-door campaign to re-establish the BSP's core vote base.
This Noida rally is being seen as an early sign of the BSP's active political presence in the coming months. All eyes are on whether Mayawati will return to the field with her former influence in 2027.
