News Topical, Digital Desk : Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has made a significant claim regarding an unpublished book by former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane. He claims that Naravane's book is available on Amazon.
It should be noted that the Delhi Police have filed an FIR to investigate the alleged circulation of a book by former Army Chief General MM Naravane (retired). Furthermore, the publishing house, Penguin Random House India, has stated that the book has not yet been published.
What did Rahul Gandhi claim?
He said, "Here is a tweet by Mr. Naravane which says - "Just follow the link to my book". What I am trying to say is that either Mr. Naravane is lying or Penguin is lying. I don't think the former Army Chief would lie. Penguin says the book has not been published. But the book is available on Amazon. General Naravane has tweeted, "Please buy my book in 2023."
'I have full faith in Naravane'
The Congress MP said, "I trust Naravane ji more than Penguin. Do you trust Penguin more than Naravane ji? I think Naravane ji has said some things in his book which are inconvenient for the Indian government and the Prime Minister of India. Obviously, you have to decide whether Penguin is telling the truth or the former Army Chief."
