News Topical, Digital Desk : Seven schools in Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat, have received bomb threats. A school in Kalol has also been threatened. Following the threats, the police administration and the bomb squad have launched an investigation.
The schools in Ahmedabad that received bomb threats include Zeber School, Zydus School, Maharaja Agrasen School, CBSE Divine Child School, Nirman School, James & Genesis, and DAV International School. Aavishkaar School in Kalol also received a threatening email.
Threatening email sent to schools
These schools in Ahmedabad have been threatened with bombings at 1:30 pm. This threat was sent to all schools via email. As soon as the schools received the email, the police control room was put on alert. The police administration took this threat seriously and immediately evacuated all the children present in the school.
Ahmedabad police, bomb squad, dog squad, and SOG teams have joined the investigation. The cybercrime team has also begun investigating the threatening email. Fire brigade teams have also reached the schools.
Following a bomb threat to Zydus School in Vejalpur, police, fire department, and ambulance vehicles were deployed near the school. Four fire department vehicles and four rescue vans were present at the scene. All school children were safely evacuated and sent home. Public movement within a 50-meter radius of the school has been restricted.
