Union Minister Chirag Paswan today again attacked Mamata Banerjee over the incident in West Bengal. Chirag Paswan said that we want the central government to impose President's rule there. Any amount of condemnation on the incident at Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital would be less. Mamata Banerjee is not able to keep her state safe. In such a situation, despite having a woman Chief Minister, women are not safe there.

Why did Mamata protest against her own government?

Earlier, Chirag Paswan had targeted Mamata Banerjee last week for protesting against her own government. Chirag Paswan had said that this shows the weakness of the TMC government in West Bengal. Doctors, BJP and TMC are also protesting

On Friday, BJP leaders along with a doctor took to the streets of Kolkata to protest against the heinous crime committed against a female trainee doctor. Students of the TMC student wing are also protesting outside their colleges.

Demand to pass death penalty law for rapists

TMC has planned to hold college protests across Bengal. TMC has demanded the Centre to pass a law for death penalty for rapists. TMC will hold a sit-in in every block on August 31.
