Before this, the Bihar government has transferred six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Thursday. Apart from this, 26 Deputy Superintendents of Police have also been transferred. Its notification has been issued by the Bihar Home Department.

According to the notification of the Home Department, 2021 batch IPS officer Mohammad Mohibullah Ansari has been removed from Patna City Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO)-1 and given the responsibility of SDPO-2 Law and Order. Whereas, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Vaishali Shailaja has been sent as Hilsa (Nalanda) SDPO-1 till further orders.
Similarly, Sanket Kumar has been made Rohtas (Bikramganj) SDPO from Saran and Assistant Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur Garima has been given the responsibility of SDPO of Saraiya. IPS officer and Assistant Superintendent of Police of Begusarai Sakshi Kumari has been made SDPO of Balia in Begusarai and Assistant Superintendent of Police of Darbhanga Komal Meena has been given the responsibility of Masaurhi SDPO-1 in Patna.
Apart from this, 26 officers of Bihar Police Service have also been transferred. This change has been described as very important for law and order. These include SDPOs of various districts. According to the notification, Muzaffarpur (East) SDPO Sahriyar Akhtar has been given the responsibility of Additional Superintendent of Police, Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir. Sunita Kumari has been given the responsibility of Pupri SDPO of Sitamarhi. Similarly, Deputy Superintendent of Police Polast Kumar of BMP 18 of Dumraon has been made SDPO of Buxar Dumraon.

Apart from this, Nav Vaibhav has been made Patna Traffic DSP, while Ramakrishna has been made Katihar's Cyber Crime DSP. Similarly, Rajesh Kumar has been removed from the post of SDPO of Jamui, Jhajha and made Deputy Superintendent of Police Railway Muzaffarpur and Vipin Kumar, who was on wait list, has been made Deputy Superintendent of Police of Gaya Headquarters-2. Apart from this, the jurisdiction of many SDPOs has also been changed.
