Recently, Kunika's son Ayan came on the show who revealed many secrets about the actress' life which many people were unaware of. Everyone on the set got emotional after listening to him. Even tears were seen in Salman Khan's eyes.
Their relationship lasted for six years
On the show, Kunika Sadanand openly admitted that she had an affair with Kumar Sanu while he was married at the time. She had earlier revealed that Kumar Sanu was living an estranged married life at the time and was staying away from his family. Kunika and Sanu's relationship lasted for six years, although they kept it private out of respect for Sanu's family. When Kunika's son Ayan Lal came on the show, he called the relationship 'toxic'.
Mother still likes him - Ayan
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Ayaan clarified that his mother Kunika still loves Kumar Sanu as a singer and often sings his songs. He revealed that while some believed that the relationship lasted for 27 years, Kunika revealed that she was 27 years old when it happened. The relationship lasted only a few years and she gave birth to Ayaan at the age of 35.
Ayan also revealed that he was not born at the time of this relationship and he came to know about it much later. He told that he never met Kumar Sanu, but he has spent time with Sanu's son Jaan Sanu.

Ayan further added, "She likes him as an artiste. I can promise you that she is not in love with that man anymore. My mother is not the obsessive type. It is not an ego thing. When I Googled him and asked her about him, she said, 'He was a very important person in my life. I saw him as a life partner, and everyone should experience that kind of love once in their life. It was toxic. Very, very toxic."
