News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrifying incident has come to light in Bhadohi district, Uttar Pradesh, where an elderly Dalit man was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight. The incident occurred while he was shopping for household items. A disturbing live video of this brutal murder has emerged, showing the attacker brutally assaulting the elderly man. Following the incident, tension and panic have gripped the area. 

The police, responding to the information, swiftly arrested the main accused with a blood-stained knife. Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabhat Rai stated that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination and the accused is being questioned to determine why the young man murdered the elderly man. Further legal action is underway. 

Many injured trying to save the elderly

This incident occurred in Jagdishpur village, within the Chauri police station area. A young man, armed with a sharp knife, chased and stabbed an unarmed elderly man. The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Bachchan Ram. Several people were injured while trying to save Bachchan Ram.

Police sent the body for post-mortem

Following this incident, the entire village, including the deceased's family, was devastated. The deceased's four sons have lost their father, and the entire Dalit settlement is deeply angered by the incident. Upon receiving the information, senior officials arrived at the scene with a large police force, brought the situation under control, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem. They also appealed to the villagers to maintain law and order.

What did the police officers say?

A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (SP) Prabhat Rai laid siege to the area and arrested the main accused, 32-year-old Shravan Kumar. The weapon used in the murder was recovered from him. Deputy Superintendent of Police (SP) Prabhat Rai stated that preliminary investigations indicate this bloody incident stems from an old rivalry and personal dispute.
