News Topical, Digital Desk : The case of scuffle between a Rapido bike rider and a woman is gaining momentum. Earlier it was revealed that the Rapido bike rider attacked the woman, but now in the CCTV footage that has surfaced, it can be seen that the woman attacked the bike rider first.

What is the whole matter?

It has come to light that three days ago, a Rapido bike rider allegedly attacked a woman near a footwear showroom in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The incident happened when the woman questioned the rider about reckless driving, following which a heated argument broke out between the two and they got into a scuffle.

According to police sources, the victim was initially reluctant to lodge a complaint. However, an NCR (non-cognizable report) was registered after officials convinced her. After a video related to the incident went viral, the police were considering converting the case into an FIR. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Jayanagar police station. Investigation is currently underway.

What was in the first CCTV?

In the first CCTV footage related to this incident, the Rapido rider was seen slapping a woman. After which people on social media were demanding action against this bike rider. But now in the new CCTV footage that has surfaced, it can be seen that the woman attacks the bike rider first.

It is worth noting that earlier in February 2025 in Ghaziabad, UP, a Zomato delivery boy along with his companions had beaten up a person who had ordered food. During this, the companions of the Zomato delivery boy had also fired at the house of the person who had ordered food and also vandalized vehicles. The incident took place in Nandgram area of Ghaziabad.
