Farhan Akhtar was the director of the film. He reminded Amitabh Bachchan on set that he and he had worked together in a film.

Farhan asked a strange question

Amitabh Bachchan then shared his experience of working with Farhan in the movie. He said, "My experience of working with him in the film was this... He came to my room at night and asked, 'Amitabh Uncle, are you having any trouble?' We thought he was the master telling us, 'Son, this is how acting is.' Hearing this, everyone in the audience, including Javed, started laughing.

Hrithik Roshan played the lead role

Amitabh Bachchan played Colonel Sunil Damle in "Lakshya." The story revolves around Karan Shergill, an irresponsible and carefree young man played by Hrithik Roshan. After meeting aspiring journalist Romila Dutta (played by Preity Zinta), Karan finds purpose in life and joins the Indian Army through the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS).
