A 25-year-old woman has accused him of rape. Solan police arrested the accused after conducting a medical examination. Solan Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh confirmed the matter.
According to reports, Solan police summoned Dr. Rajeev Bindal's elder brother, Ram Kumar Bindal (75), for questioning on Friday (October 10) morning and subsequently arrested him. The victim filed a report at the women's police station, stating that she had been ill for some time and had come to the Vaidya near the old bus stand in Solan on October 7, 2025, seeking Vedic treatment for her illness.
Allegation of rape of a girl who came for treatment
According to the police report, when the victim came to the doctor near the old bus stand in Solan, a man was sitting there and asked her where she was from. After asking for her address, he made her sit for an examination. The man then held her hand and began pressing her veins. He then began asking her about her sexual problems. The victim gave her complete details about her illness and was assured that he would cure her 100%.

The accused then began examining the victim, allegedly insisting that he also examine her private parts. The girl refused. However, the accused, under the guise of examining her, sexually assaulted her. The victim pushed him away and escaped. A case has been registered at the Women's Police Station, Solan.

The victim has also filed a statement in court. The police also had the SFSL Junga team inspect the crime scene and, with their assistance, collected evidence from the scene. Based on the evidence, on Friday (October 10), the police team from the Mahila Thana arrested the accused, Ram Kumar Bindal, son of Vaidya Balmukund Bindal, resident of Bindal Colony, Circular Road, Solan. The police are taking further action in the case.
