News Topical, Digital Desk : Police and intelligence agencies are investigating the explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi. An FSL examination of the blast will also be conducted today, Tuesday. At least nine people have died in the accident.

It is noteworthy that three suspects were arrested in different states in the days leading up to the Red Fort blast. Among them, a doctor from Gujarat was arrested with three pistols and resources to make potential biological weapons.

Another man from Jammu and Kashmir was arrested in Faridabad, Haryana, with 2,900 kilograms of explosives and two assault rifles. A third man was arrested in Uttar Pradesh for putting up posters praising the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed.

These three arrests were made on Sunday and Monday morning. It is suspected that these individuals may have connections to the Delhi car bombings.

How did the explosion happen?

A Hyundai i20 car with a Haryana license plate, HR26 CE 7674, exploded at the Subhash Marg traffic signal at Gate 1 of Delhi's Red Fort Metro station on Monday evening. The explosion caused several vehicles to catch fire and injured more than 20 people. Nine people died in the blast. Three subsequent arrests are being linked to the incident.

Was there any connection between the arrest of the terrorists and the Red Fort car blast?

In fact, the Delhi Police, NIA, and NSG have provided very limited information regarding this incident. The arrests made on Sunday and Monday have raised concerns about whether these individuals were linked to the Delhi bombings. However, the police have not provided any information on this matter.

Who were the people to be arrested?

Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed

The Gujarat Police Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed from Adalaj town near the state capital Gandhinagar on Sunday. Three pistols, two Austrian-made Glock pistols and an Italian-made Beretta, as well as ammunition for these weapons, were recovered from Syed.

Police also seized four liters of castor oil, a widely used and readily available product that can be used to make ricin. It is a highly toxic substance that can be fatal by entering the body's cells and blocking the production of essential proteins, leading to cell death and organ failure.

Dr. Muzammil Shakeel

Meanwhile, at about the same time, Jammu and Kashmir police were raiding two residential buildings linked to Dr. Muzammil Shakeel in Faridabad, Haryana, and recovered a large quantity of explosives, totaling approximately 3,000 kilograms.

It included 350 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, detonators, assault rifles, and ammunition. Shakeel, who worked at Al-Falah Hospital in Faridabad, was the second doctor from Jammu and Kashmir to be arrested in the operation.

Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather

Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather was arrested a few hours earlier in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was identified in CCTV footage as one of two men who had put up posters praising the banned Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed in Nowgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

A third doctor, Shaheen Shahid, was subsequently arrested. Police said Shahid had allowed Shakeel to store an assault rifle and some ammunition in his car, a Maruti Suzuki Swift.
