News Topical, Digital Desk : The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has made several changes to the darshan and worship procedures at all the supplementary temples within the complex, including Shri Ram Lalla. Under this, general pass holders are now also able to visit the supplementary temples within the fort. The Trust has also advised that all devotees should wear Indian attire while performing darshan and worship of all deities.
This change by the Trust is being seen as an effort to bring equality and transparency to the darshan system. The Ram Temple Trust recommends that all devotees visit the Ayodhya temples wearing Indian attire. Men should wear dhoti-kurta or kurta-pajama, and women should wear a sari or Punjabi dress with a dupatta or churidar dupatta. However, this is not mandatory at present; it is only a suggestion.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has piloted a new system to allow more pass holders to visit the complementary temples. Now, when the number of visitors is relatively low in the afternoon or at other times, devotees who visit the Saptarishi temples using general passes are also being directed to the fort.
Due to this, till now the pass holders who used to visit only Saptarishi and Sheshavatar temple and Kuber Tila, have now started getting darshan in the six supplementary temples built in the fort as well. However, this is not used for security reasons in case of heavy crowd, then only devotees holding Sugam and special passes are allowed in the fort. Ram Mandir Trust member Dr. Anil Mishra said that the arrangements are currently being assessed, soon the number of devotees in the supplementary temples of the complex will be increased.
Several changes to the system
- Now, along with Sugam Darshan, the option of General Darshan is also available on the website.
- Easy Darshan Pass will have darshan of Ramlala, Ram family and six temples of the fort.
- General Darshan: Nearby, there will be darshan of Ramlala, Ram Parivar, Sheshavatar Temple, Sapt Mandir and Kuber mound.
- The maximum number of bookings was reduced to five.
- Till now, eight devotees could have darshan in one pass.
- All slots in Sugam Darshan Pass till May 8 are already full.
- Even in general darshan, all slots till May 8 are full.
VIP culture ends in Ayodhya
In view of the increasing crowds to visit Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has implemented a new system. Now 'Vishisht Darshan' has been removed. In view of the huge crowd of devotees coming to visit Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust' has made some important changes in the official website and darshan system. The main objective of these changes is to make the darshan process more transparent, simple and equal for all.
To reduce VIP culture and prioritize general devotees, the Trust has completely removed the "special darshan" option from online booking. Devotees will now see only two options on the website: Sugam Darshan and Samanya Darshan. This move by the Trust will now allow all devotees to have darshan under a single category, thereby bringing uniformity to the darshan system.
