Attempt to rape a pregnant woman in Abu Road, Rajasthan, the beast took her to the forest, FIR registered:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Rajasthan News: A case has come to light in a village in the Aburoad Sadar police station area of Rajasthan where a pregnant woman was forcibly abducted during a wedding ceremony, taken to the jungle and an attempt was made to rape her after committing objectionable acts with her.

The victim has reached the police station and lodged a case against six named people and has requested for strict legal action. The accused are constantly following her due to which she is forced to live in hiding in the shadow of fear.

In the report submitted to the police station,
a woman resident of a village in Aburod Sadar police station area of Sirohi district told that on 18 June 2025, she and her husband, brother and sister's husband had gone to attend a wedding ceremony. During this time, she has accused him of forcing himself on her. The victim is also four months pregnant.

This is how the whole incident happened:
On 18 June 2025, at around 10 to 11 pm, the victim was standing at a little distance from the wedding house. Then suddenly the accused Soma, Bharma, Liya, Nona, Liba and Liba's brother's son Lala along with two other persons came with sharp weapons like axes and sticks in their hands.

The victim said that as soon as he arrived, the accused Soma dragged the victim by her hair towards the jungle and threw her on the ground. He did objectionable things with her and tried to rape her forcefully. The victim made several serious allegations against the accused Somaram and others.

When the victim started shouting loudly in protest, her husband, brother and another person came running and tried to rescue her from the main accused Soma. The other accused attacked the victim's family members with an axe on their heads with the intention of killing them. As soon as they turned their left hand to save themselves, they got seriously injured as the fingers of their left hand were cut and the middle finger was completely cut.

During this, when the victim's husband came to rescue her, the accused Bharma and Nona together beat up her husband and the accused Nona hit the husband's face with a stone. Due to which her husband got injured on the face. When her brother tried to intervene, he was also beaten up and injured.

The victim and her family spent the night in the jungle.
The victim said that somehow they managed to escape from the clutches of the accused and spent the whole night hiding in the jungle. The accused are threatening to kill me. Due to the fear of the accused, the victim and her family are forced to hide. Because the accused are constantly following them by laying ambush. The victim has filed a report in Aburoad Sadar police station, pleading for concrete legal action. At present, the victim and her family are completely terrified.

What did the police say?
Abu Road police station incharge Darshan Singh said that it is a family matter. The case has been registered and investigation has been started. A case of molestation of the victim and assault on her husband has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
