News Topical, Digital Desk : The application process for those going for Haj next year has begun. The dates for filling the online Haj application form on the Haj Committee of India website www.hajcommittee.gov.in and Haj Suvidha App have been fixed from 7th July to 31st July.

Giving detailed information about Haj 2026, Delhi State Haj Committee Executive Officer Ashfaq Ahmed Arfi said that those who intend to perform Haj next year can also choose a short term Haj of 20 days in their online application, for which they may have to pay an additional amount. In the short term Haj, the duration of stay in Madina Munawwara will be only two to three days.

 Hajj pilgrimage will be possible only from 7 embarkation points, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Hyderabad. Like last year's Hajj 2025, this time too, children below 12 years of age will be banned from Hajj pilgrimage on 7.7.2025. 

You can apply only till this age

 To submit Hajj application form in special category, it is mandatory to be at least 65 years of age on 7th July 2025, while for women going on Hajj without Mahram, the age should be 45 years. In Hajj 2026, food option will also be taken from the pilgrims and later the final decision of food arrangement will be taken based on their choice.

For the convenience of the interested pilgrims of Delhi, Delhi State Haj Committee has provided the facility of filling online application at the office located at Haj Manzil, Delhi. Hajis have to fill the Haj application form by coming with passport, photo, cancelled cheque and Aadhar card from 9th July, Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm. To submit the Haj application form, interested persons must have a valid passport till 31 December 2026. 

Hajjis should carefully read the Hajj guidelines and the required declaration forms for different categories before applying. It should be specially kept in mind that the application forms submitted for Hajj 2026 can be cancelled only in case of death or serious illness, not in any other circumstances. Otherwise, the Hajjis may have to suffer financial loss. Therefore, only those who have full and firm intention and have a sure arrangement for the expenses should fill the Hajj application form.
