News Topical, Digital Desk : Amendment Bill to pass in Parliament, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a full-scale attack on the opposition and is staging protests everywhere. In this context, BJP leader Aparna Yadav also protested by burning the flags of the Samajwadi Party and the Congress Party. Her photo from this protest became the center of national political discussion. The opposition has now also reacted strongly to this issue.
Samajwadi Party MLC Ashutosh Sinha called this an act of narrow-mindedness. He said that the Samajwadi Party has always advocated for women's rights and reservations, and that they will never back down on their rights.
He said that the reality is that the Bharatiya Janata Party has a different mindset behind this amendment bill. The images of protests, including the burning of the party flag, and the way the House is being depicted in the background, are completely inappropriate and reflect the individual's petty and despicable mentality. An FIR should be filed against them.
Ajay Rai condemned the burning of the flag
Congress state president Ajay Rai also called it extremely unfortunate. He said that the entire country knows who raised the voice for women's rights and entitlements. By calling a special session, the central government wanted to mislead the people. However, the limit was crossed when the protest exceeded all limits and a party flag was burned. This is extremely unfortunate and cannot be condemned enough.
It should be noted that earlier, SP President Akhilesh Yadav had also reacted to the burning of the SP flag without naming Aparna Yadav. He said, "I won't say much on this, but color is associated with some religion. Every religion has a color." Akhilesh said, "Red is the color of socialists. Red is the color of revolution. Red is the color of goddesses, red is the color of Hanuman, and red is the color of married life. Therefore, no sentiments should be hurt."
