News Topical, Digital Desk : Hridayapoorvam Shooting: The shooting of Malayalam cinema superstar Mohanlal's much-awaited film 'Hridayapoorvam' has finally been completed. This family drama film is directed by famous filmmaker Sathyan Anthikkad. To celebrate this special occasion, Mohanlal has shared two pictures on Instagram and informed about the pack-up.
'Hridayapurvam' prepared in 18th partnership
'Hrudayapoorvam' is the 18th collaboration of Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikkad. Both have previously worked together in a hit film like 'Ennum Eppozhum' (2015). The story of this film is written by Sathyan's son Akhil Sathyan, while the screenplay and dialogues were written by Sonu TP.
Mohanlal is playing the role of Sandeep Balakrishnan in the film, while Malavika Mohanan will be seen in the female lead role. Apart from this, stars like Sangeetha Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Pratap, Siddique, Sabita Anand, Baburaj, Nishan, Lalu Alex, Janardhanan and S.P. Charan are also in important roles. The cinematography of the film is done by Anu Moothedath, and the music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
When will 'Hridayapurvam' be released?
The film was shot in Kochi and Pune and is set to release in theatres on 28 August 2025. Sathyan Anthikkad's films are known for their heartwarming stories, and fans expect 'Hrudaya Poorvam' to be just as magical. Malavika Mohanan also shared her experience of working with Mohanlal, saying that she learned a lot from legends like Sathyan and Mohanlal.
'Thudaram' made its mark in foreign countries
Mohanlal's latest release 'Thudaram' has grossed over Rs 100 crore in Kerala and has collected Rs 223 crore worldwide. After the success of this blockbuster, fans' expectations from 'Hrudaya Poorvam' have increased even more. Fans commented on the post on social media, writing, "Mohanlal and Sathyan's pair will create magic again" and "It will rock the theatres on Onam." The film may release on the occasion of Onam.
