News Topical, Digital Desk : Political lobbyist Jason Miller has met US President Donald Trump and some officials of his administration in the backdrop of souring of relations between India and America on trade and tariff. This meeting has taken place at a time when just a day before President Trump had described India-US relations as "special" and said that he will always be a friend of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He had said, Modi is a great Prime Minister. I will always be his friend. However, I do not like what he is doing at this time. India and America have a special relationship. There is nothing to worry about. After this, PM Modi also said that I deeply appreciate President Trump's sentiments and positive assessment of our relations and support his sentiments.

Miller heads SHW Partners LLC. The Indian embassy hired him for a year in April for a reported payment of $1.8 million. Miller did not reveal the purpose of his meeting with Trump and other officials but posted several photos on the internet media, including one with Trump.

He wrote- Had a wonderful week with so many friends in Washington. The best part was that we got a chance to stay here and see our President in action! Keep up the great work President Trump.
