News Topical, Digital Desk : Donald Trump is currently ruling the US. Donald Trump has been taking rapid decisions one after the other since becoming the President. Meanwhile, a shocking news has emerged from Guantanamo Bay in the US. It is being told that several crores of rupees are spent on each person living at the naval base under Trump's custody.

Senator Gary Peters said during a hearing that the migrants living at the naval base cost crores of rupees. In such a situation, it is being said that keeping the migrants at the naval base has become a burden for Trump.

How many migrants are in custody?

Peters said - We are spending 100,000 a day to keep someone in Guantanamo. We keep them there for a while, then we take them back to the United States, we can keep them here for $ 165 a day. I think this is a great insult. According to the US official, about 70 migrants are detained there.

Kept in rooms for 23 hours

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit in March to prevent 10 migrants from being transferred to the base. In the lawsuit, the ACLU alleged that migrants at Guantanamo were kept in windowless rooms for at least 23 hours a day, subjected to strip searches and denied contact with family members. Some had attempted suicide, the ACLU said.
