The deceased's nephew has leveled serious allegations against the factory owner and senior officials, claiming that the accident occurred due to management negligence. He is now demanding action. Based on a complaint from the victim's family, the Ecotech One police station has registered a case against the owner and senior officials of the DFF Foods factory.
The fire broke out on April 17
Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Bhandeda village under the Niwari police station in Ghaziabad, was working as a fitter at the DFM Foods Private Limited factory located in the Ecotech Forest area. On April 17th, at around 5 p.m., a fire broke out while working on a machine in the factory, burning four workers, including Pradeep. Pradeep suffered serious burns. The factory management admitted him to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. He died during treatment on April 26th.
It was said that the machines should be repaired
Now, the deceased's nephew, Sanchit Tyagi, has filed a police complaint, leveling serious allegations against the factory owner and officials, demanding strict action. He alleges that even after his uncle suffered severe burns, management failed to inform him. A fellow worker informed him by phone the next day. It is also alleged that Pradeep had repeatedly complained to the factory owner and senior officials about the poor condition of the machines, expressing fears of an accident.
Action will be taken on the facts found after investigation
Even after this, they were forced to work. Sanchit also alleges that workers have previously suffered accidents at the factory. Senior officials have repeatedly threatened and silenced the workers. They have not fixed the defects in the machines. This is why his uncle died from burns in a fire that broke out while working. Inspector in charge Arvind Verma said the matter is under consideration. Further action will be taken based on the facts found in the investigation.
