
News Topical, Digital Desk : Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's statement has come out regarding Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate, who got embroiled in controversy while playing rummy in the Maharashtra Assembly. He said, let him meet me face to face, I will talk to him face to face.
Ajit Pawar said that the investigation of this case has started and CM Devendra Fadnavis and I will take a decision on this together. He assured so.
Ajit Pawar recently participated in meetings related to various development works. After this, while talking to journalists, he expressed his views about Manikrao Kokate. He said, "I have not met him yet. The information I got about that video of the Agriculture Minister is that the incident took place inside the Vidhan Sabha."
He said that the premises of the Vidhan Mandal comes under the jurisdiction of Ram Kadam and Rahul Narvekar. As per my information, they have also started an investigation into this. The investigation is on to find out what really happened there. I have not met them yet."
'You should speak with caution'
The Deputy CM also said, "We had discussed earlier that the responsibility of the state is on all of us and we should speak, behave and take decisions thoughtfully. Senior leaders of all parties have given strict instructions to their respective leaders in this regard."
'The truth will come out in the investigation'
He further said, "A similar incident had happened with him once before, then I had explained it to him. Then when it happened the second time, even then I had warned him."
Ajit Pawar said, "I had said that a mistake was made once, a mistake was made a second time too, don't let such a chance come a third time. Now in this case, they are saying that they did not do anything like this. What is the truth, it will be revealed by investigation."
'Such a statement should not come from anyone'
Deputy Chief Minister Pawar said, "On Monday or Tuesday, I will call him and discuss face-to-face and then take a decision. If the allegations are proved right, then this decision will be within our jurisdiction. The Chief Minister and I will take the decision together."
He said, "What anyone else is saying is of no concern. Ultimately, when we are working in the Mahayuti government, no such statement should come from any of our people, ministers, state ministers or leaders that defame the Mahayuti."
