News Topical, Digital Desk : On Tuesday morning, a joint team of the UP ATS, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and Lucknow Police raided the home of Dr. Parvez Ansari on IIM Road in Madiaon, Uttar Pradesh. Parvez works at Integral University. No arrests have been reported so far. This raid is being linked to the terrorist module that was detected in Faridabad on Monday.
It is being reported that Parvez Ansari had a long-standing relationship with Dr. Muzammil, who was arrested in Faridabad. This action was taken to investigate this alleged relationship. Parvez Ansari has been found to have connections to Saharanpur, as his car is registered in Saharanpur, and Dr. Adil, who was arrested in Faridabad, is also from Saharanpur. Raids are ongoing at several locations in Lucknow.
The raids are continuing since 6 am.
According to reports, the three teams began the raid at 6 a.m. in a joint operation. The operation continued for approximately six hours. The team included more than 40 police personnel. Two Jammu and Kashmir Police vehicles, three UP ATS vehicles, and two UP Police vehicles were on the scene. The raid also recovered numerous documents, electronic devices, and suspicious items from Dr. Parvez Ansari's home.
Aliganj ACP Syed Areeb Ahmed reported that the Jammu and Kashmir Police searched Dr. Parvez Ansari's home. This case is related to the Faridabad module. An investigation is currently underway under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Dr. Adil, who was arrested in Faridabad, is a resident of Saharanpur, and Dr. Parvez Ansari's car, number UP 11BD3563, bears an Integral University sticker. Dr. Parvez has connections with Dr. Muzammil.
Module caught in Faridabad
It should be noted that on Monday, November 10, the Jammu and Kashmir Police busted a "white collar" terror module in Faridabad. A large quantity of explosives and prohibited weapons were recovered from them. Currently, the investigation is underway to determine whether this module had any role in the Delhi bombings.
