Krishna, a resident of the Banna Devi area, fabricated a story of his own kidnapping and, along with his friend, demanded a ransom of ₹8 lakh from his father. The police solved the case in just half an hour and arrested both of them. However, at the family's request, they released them without filing a case.
The accused student, a second-year B.Com student at AMU, had lost lakhs of rupees in online gaming. Therefore, he, along with his friend, concocted a false kidnapping story.
What is the whole matter?
According to reports, Satyaveer Singh lives with his family on the Krishna Nagar Baraula Jafrabad bypass in the Banna Devi police station area. He recently retired from the Irrigation Department. Satyaveer's 20-year-old son, Krishna alias Dabbu, is a second-year B.Com student at AMU. His friend, Naveen, attends Gagan Public School. The two friends play online games together, often betting money. They lost lakhs of rupees and became trapped in the game, causing significant distress.
Krishna's father, Satyaveer, retired from the Irrigation Department and received a substantial sum of money upon his retirement. Upon learning of this, Krishna, along with his friend Naveen, fabricated a story about his own kidnapping. He used his friend to call his father from his own number and demand a ransom of 8 lakh rupees. The ransom demand was negotiated, resulting in a reduction. The family complained to the police, and the police began an investigation.

CO Second Kamlesh Kumar said, "Four teams were formed to recover the youth. The kidnapped Krishna alias Dabbu, 20, was recovered from a dirt road leading to Gagan Public School on Khair Road, about half an hour after receiving the information. Upon questioning the kidnapped man, it was revealed that Krishna alias Dabbu and his friend Naveen, son of Shyam Singh, resident of Shiv Dham Colony, Nada Bypass, Rorawar Police Station, Aligarh, had hatched a false kidnapping plot to extort money from their family members."
Krishna alias Dabbu and Naveen son of Shyam Singh, both of them are students, keeping in mind their future, both of them were safely handed over to their families.

When CO Kamlesh Kumar was informed of the student's kidnapping, he formed four teams and repeatedly received information from all four teams. He personally monitored the entire case. When the case was solved within half an hour, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
