News Topical, Digital Desk : A young man returning home with cooking gas was struck by an unknown pickup truck near Mahuva Bujurg. One youth died and the other was injured. Chauri Chaura police, who arrived on the scene, took necessary action.

Baliram Gaur, 23, son of Ramprasad Gaur, a resident of Ramdasaha Tola in Gaunar village under the Chauri Chaura police station, and Deepak Vishwakarma, 19, a resident of Suba Bazaar in Khorabar police station, who lived in a rented house in the same village, had gone to the gas agency in Dumri Khas village to buy cooking gas. While returning, they were near Mahuva Bujurg village when they were hit by an unknown pickup truck.

Both were seriously injured. Bystanders rushed them to AIIMS Hospital for treatment. Baliram Gaur died there, while the other youth is undergoing treatment.

Police are searching for the pickup using footage from nearby CCTV cameras. The news of the death has caused chaos among the family members, who are inconsolable. Police say they are taking necessary action in the case and searching for the pickup.
