
News Topical, Digital Desk : Indore News: Indore's Rajwada will witness historic decisions on Tuesday (20 May). A special cabinet meeting of the Madhya Pradesh government is going to be held in this Rajwada. This meeting will be held with the aim of making the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar everlasting. This will be a matter of pride and a historic moment for Indore.
For the special meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, the Rajwada has been decorated in modern and traditional style. All preparations for the meeting have been completed. This will be the first occasion when the State Cabinet will assemble at this magnificent place having historical heritage and will brainstorm on important policies related to public interest.
Extensive preparations have been made to make this meeting a confluence of dignity and tradition. The palace has been decorated as a symbol of cultural splendor. Traditional style and modern decorations have been done in the palace in memory of Mother Goddess Ahilya Bai Holkar. A glimpse of Malvi culture is clearly visible inside and outside the building. The combination of light, flowers and traditional decorations is giving it a different special look.
The meeting will
begin with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and all the ministers garlanding the statue of Goddess Ahilyabai. After this, they will enter the palace, where the cabinet meeting will be held on the ground floor. Discussion on schemes related to development, public welfare and good governance of the state is expected in the meeting.
Arrangements have been made to welcome all the guests attending the event as per Malvi tradition
. After the meeting, a traditional Malvi feast will be organised on the first floor, in which local dishes, especially dal-baati, dahi vada, mawa baati etc. will be served.
Temporary secretariat and tight security arrangements
A temporary secretariat has been set up in the Rajwada premises, where all administrative activities related to the meeting will be conducted. A special police force has been deployed for security. Officers have been assigned different responsibilities for all arrangements of transport, accommodation and security. Liaisoning officers have been appointed to assist ministers and senior officials.
Exhibition based on the life of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar
Along with this historic meeting, various exhibitions are also being organized. In this, one section will be an exhibition based on the life, personality and work of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. In this, various scenes of Lokmata's sacrifice, service, administrative efficiency, religious tolerance and social welfare have been presented through pictures and other mediums.
In this section, the state government has displayed schemes based on the principles of Lokmata such as good governance, justice, women empowerment, public service and public welfare. Along with this, another photo exhibition based on the development of Indore has also been set up.
Rs 11.21 crore approved
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has approved Rs 11.21 crore under the Rajwada conservation and restoration project. The work of conservation and restoration of Rajwada's Darbar Hall will be done with this amount. It is proposed that the Chief Minister will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for these works.
