Locals allege that not only one teenager but several others were also involved in the incident. They tied the girl's hands and legs and gang-raped her. However, police say that only one teenager was involved in the incident and has been arrested. Investigations are underway regarding the others. The couple, residents of Kannauj, live in a house with their minor daughter. The teenager's mother works in nearby homes. On Tuesday night, they sent her to work. Around 9 p.m., when the daughter was returning home, the weather suddenly deteriorated. The daughter took shelter in a house under construction in the colony.

It is alleged that a teenager, along with some other boys, who had arrived in the meantime, caught the girl, tied her hands and legs, and gang-raped her. When the girl protested and shouted, people gathered. At this, the accused jumped from the second floor and tried to escape. People caught him. The incident was reported to the Ashiana police. People handed the teenager over to the police.

It is alleged that other friends of the teenager were also involved in the incident. However, the police have currently ruled out the involvement of others. The teenager's condition has also deteriorated since the incident. She is undergoing treatment. Ashiana Inspector Chhatrapal Singh says that detailed statements will be recorded once her condition improves. The role of other people will also be investigated. The case will be investigated with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the colony.
