According to reports, the accused, a 16-year-old boy, is a student in the 11th grade at a government school in Ladwa. He was living with his father and separated from his mother. He came to his mother's house one night and attacked her with an axe, causing her mother, Mukesh Rani, to collapse in a pool of blood. The son suspected her of having an illicit relationship. Neighbors informed the police.

Police initiated action

Ladwa DSP Randhir Singh said that Mukesh Rani was divorced and living alone, separated from her husband. On Tuesday night, the accused son attacked his mother with an axe multiple times at home. During the attack, Mukesh Rani tried to escape from the rooftop to a neighbor's house, but the accused chased her down the stairs and beheaded her with an axe. She died on the spot. The minor accused is absconding and is being searched for.
