News Topical, Digital Desk : The results of the Bihar Assembly elections, announced on November 14th, are being discussed nationwide. However, shocking news has emerged from Guna, Madhya Pradesh, causing a stir in the city. A 22-year-old man was murdered following a debate over the Bihar election results. The perpetrator turned out to be none other than the deceased's maternal uncle.

The deceased has been identified as Shankar Manjhi, a resident of the Sheohar district of Bihar, and lived in Guna with his two maternal uncles, Rajesh Manjhi and Toofani Manjhi.

How did he commit murder?

Police in-charge Anoop Bhargava, while giving details of the incident, said that Shankar was a supporter of the opposition RJD, while both his maternal uncles supported the ruling JDU.

Anoop Bhargava said-

All three were heavily intoxicated. An argument broke out between them regarding the Bihar election results. Rajesh and Toofani dragged Shankar to a muddy area and buried him in the mud. He died of asphyxiation.

Upon learning of the incident, police arrived at the scene and Shankar was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late. Doctors declared him dead.

Both uncles arrested

The police took the two accused, Rajesh and Toofani, into custody and interrogated them. Both confessed to their crimes. The police have registered a case and begun investigation.
