Noida News: If we talk about crime in the digital age, it has also changed its color with time. Mobile, which was made to exchange information, has now become a big weapon of criminals. In one such case, Sector 142 police station of Noida has arrested a woman named Zoya Khan, who used to pressurize and threaten people and officials to do her work by posing as fake IAS, IPS and IFS officers through spoofing calls.
Zoya Khan, who is in police custody, had also given the UPSC exam, but after failing, she started threatening people by posing as a fake IAS, IPS and IFS officer and establishing her status in the society. Recently, Zoya Khan tried to pressurize the in-charge of police station 142 in a case by making a fake call, but her trick did not work and she was arrested. When Zoya Khan was interrogated, it was found that she had used a Dubai server to make the spoofing call.
This is how she used to victimize officers:
DCP Noida Central said that through spoofing technique, the caller changes the caller ID, which makes it seem that the call is coming from a reliable number. Using this technique, Zoya confused police officers and other people several times. She would also talk in male voices through the MAGIC CALL app, so that she could appear more impressive. This is not the first time Zoya Khan has done this. Earlier also, she has demanded police escort by posing as fake IAS, IPS in Noida, Gurugram and Meerut. When her fraud was exposed at all the three places, cases were filed against her.
