Their bus collided with a tree in Mau district, injuring approximately 40 people. The joyous atmosphere suddenly turned into mourning, and chaos reigned at the scene.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the Ratanpura-Mubarakpur road in the Haldharpur police station area of ​​Mau district. The bus, full of devotees, was returning from Ayodhya to Ballia when it suddenly lost control and struck a roadside tree. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the bus was severely damaged. Most of the passengers were asleep at the time of the accident, leaving them unable to recover.

Amid the outcry, the villagers took charge.

The accident erupted in panic among the passengers on the bus. Nearby villagers immediately rushed to the scene and began rescue operations. Locals helped extricate the injured from the bus and arranged for their immediate transportation to the hospital.

The injured were initially taken to the Community Health Center, Jogapur, where they were initially treated and then referred to the District Hospital, Mau. The injured include women, children, and the elderly. Some are reported to be in critical condition and are undergoing treatment.

According to reports, these devotees were returning home to Ballia after attending the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagna held in Ayodhya from March 20 to March 28. This tragic accident occurred during their journey.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began rescue and relief operations. The cause of the accident is under investigation. Meanwhile, BJP District President Ramashraay Maurya also visited the district hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured. He assured them of all possible assistance.
