The 18th season of the personality show Bigg Boss ended in Hindi and 8 seasons were completed in Tamil. Last night was the grand finale of both the seasons, the winners of which have also been announced. Karanveer Mehra became the winner of Bigg Boss 18, on the other hand, Muthukumaran took away the trophy of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8.

The winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 Muthukumaran was handed the trophy by host Vijay Sethupathi on January 19. Soundarya gave him tough competition in terms of voting, but she fell short by a few votes and had to be content with being the first runner-up. After the victory, Muthukumaran was given a prize money of Rs 40 lakh 50 thousand.

Ryan was at the fifth position, Pavitra at the fourth and Vishal came in the top 3. Soundarya and Muthukumaran were in the top 2. This season was hosted by Bollywood and South actor Vijay Sethupathi. Earlier, the show was hosted by superstar Kamal Haasan.
