In the case of black marketing of ration from the Food Corporation of India warehouse in Bulandshahr, departmental action has been initiated by suspending District Food Marketing Officer Zia Ahmed Karim, Marketing Inspector Sudhir Kumar, Supply Inspector Vivek Srivastava as well as District Supply Officer Sunil Singh.
Food and Logistics Commissioner Saurabh Babu said that on the complaint of black marketing of ration from the Food Corporation of India warehouse in Bulandshahr, the District Magistrate had constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (Administration) and got the investigation done.
Black marketing revealed in investigation
In this case, departmental action was recommended against depot in-charge Shalini Pachauri, regional marketing officer Indrapal Singh, marketing inspector Gaurav Kumar, Vinod Kumar Dohre, Mukesh Kumar, Rajiv Sharma and Manoj Kumar for negligence in sending food grains and not maintaining proper records. In the investigation of the committee, black marketing and misuse of government food grains of public distribution system was found in the single stage transportation system in Sadar block of the district.
In this case, a case has been registered against handling transport contractor Ravindra Singh, Sudhir Kumar, marketing inspector Bulandshahr, Ankur Singh, Shivkumar, Vakil Khan, Pinky, Pawan for black marketing and misuse of government food grains.
