Meanwhile, the police received information from the informer that a woman was coming from Bihar to Margomunda in Deoghar district with weapons.

After the information, a police team was formed. Police raided the house of Rubia Khatoon's wife Bablu Ansari in Kishanpur village. During this time, a bag was recovered in a straw kept in Rubia's house, in which two country-made pistols and four live cartridges were recovered.
