New Delhi: The results of the US presidential election have started coming in, the whole world is waiting to know who will become the President of America. Meanwhile, many posts related to the US presidential election are going viral on social media. Among these, a post of a woman is going viral on social media. Where a woman has talked about breaking the engagement because her fiancé did not participate in the voting.

In a Reddit post, a 26-year-old woman claimed that she wanted to break her engagement with her fiancé because he did not vote. My fiancé is not planning to vote for the US presidential election. I am going through a moral crisis right now. She questioned in the Reddit post, would it be wrong to break the engagement for this?

The woman wrote a post about her fiancé

The woman further explained in the post that they live in Florida, and her husband-to-be refused to vote, saying he doesn't like any of the candidates. And our political views are pretty similar. So I don't understand why he is so nonchalant about skipping this vote.

How are people's reactions on social media?

After the woman's post surfaced, many people have reacted on social media. While some supported the woman's decision, others said that voting is a personal choice and it should not affect their relationship.

One user said, If it's so important to you to be with someone who votes and he doesn't want to vote, then you should break up with him. (If he did vote, and voted opposite of you, would that be okay, because at least he voted?) One user wrote, You can end the relationship for any reason you want.
