Wolters Kluwer Company India Private Limited came forward to help Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust, which provides shelter to intellectually disabled children.
The company has sponsored photovoltaic solar power plants for the boys and girls hostels of the trust. A 10-kilowatt (KW) system will be installed in the boys' home and an 8-KW system in the girls' home. The company aims to improve the lives of the children in the hostel.

The announcement of providing photovoltaic solar energy was made during the inauguration ceremony held at Boys and Girls. Wolters Kluwer is headquartered in the US. Josh Underwood, Vice President of Business Services based in the United States, and Raju Vaidyanathan, Managing Director from the Chennai branch of the company, attended the ceremony as chief guests. They assured that the company will always stand to help the society.
Through this solar system, the value of renewable energy is to be emphasized. At the same time, this step will reduce dependence on traditional power sources in the boys and girls hostels.

For the last three years, Wolters Kluwer has been working with Shri Arunodayam to improve the lives of children. In the last three years, the company has helped 122 children who are suffering from intellectual disabilities.
