Salman R. Khan, a wanted terrorist of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has been extradited to India from Rwanda. Interpol had issued a red corner notice against Salman on the demand of NIA and CBI for the arrest of this terrorist accused of terrorist conspiracy in Bangalore jail.
According to the investigation of NIA, due to the good coordination of Interpol's National Central Bureau located in Kigali, the capital of the Central-East African country Rwanda, with CBI and NIA, terrorist Salman Khan, who was funding terrorist activities in India, has been arrested in India. Apart from this, cases of Arms Act and Anti-Explosives Act have also been filed against him.
A conspiracy was hatched for a terrorist attack
According to the information, Salman Khan had hatched a criminal conspiracy to carry out a terrorist attack in Bengaluru in 2023. An FIR has also been registered in this case at Hebbal Police Station in Bengaluru. Salman Khan, who was in jail in a POCSO case between 2018-2022, is also accused of collecting explosives and distributing it to other terrorists.
T. Naseer, who is serving life sentence in a terror case, had trained him to become radical and recruit terrorists. The CBI issued a statement saying that Salman Khan has returned to India on November 28. The NIA said in a statement, 'Salman was detained by the NIA with the help of RIB, Interpol and NCB on November 27 in the terrorist radicalization and recruitment case in Bengaluru Central Jail and was brought to India this morning.'
Two accused were also brought to India from Saudi Arabia
On the lines of Salman, Indian investigative agencies have recently brought back two accused Barkat Ali Khan and Rehan Arabikkallarikal from Saudi Arabia. One of them was wanted by the CBI, while the other was extradited to India with the efforts of Kerala Police. Since 2021, more than 100 wanted people have been brought to India with the help of Interpol. This year alone, 26 wanted people were brought to India.
