Digital Desk, New Delhi. Weather Update: Monsoon has become active in the national capital Delhi, but there has not been heavy rain all over Delhi yet. On Monday too, clouds kept playing hide and seek throughout the day but it did not rain. Due to which people had to face humidity. On Tuesday too, dark clouds have been covering the sky in Delhi-NCR since morning.

According to the seven-day forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the orange alert will continue in the capital due to rain. The IMD's weather bulletin says that there will be moderate to heavy rain in Delhi in the next two days and thunderstorms with strong winds will occur across the city.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi?

The Meteorological Department has issued an 'Orange Alert' for the next two days in Delhi. Regarding Delhi, weather experts have predicted an increase in rain activity again, due to which the rain is likely to intensify. Rain will start in Delhi from July 2 i.e. today.

 

Know how the weather will be in other states 

Apart from Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive light to moderate rains with heavy rains at some places. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also issued warnings for many other states. So let's know how the weather will be in other states today. 

Moderate to heavy rain warning in Northeast India 

Moderate to heavy rains are possible in Northeast India during the next 24 hours. At the same time, due to heavy rains and flood conditions in Assam, animals are stranded, due to which there is a possibility of injury and death due to being hit by vehicles. The Additional District Magistrate has issued an order. The order states that the speed of any type of vehicles should not exceed 20 or 40 kmph on the section of NH 715 (old NH 37). 

Chances of rain in most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh 

Most parts of Uttar Pradesh are likely to have dark clouds in the sky and light to moderate rain on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, Tuesday is likely to be cloudy. In the next 24 hours, there may be drizzle and rain with strong winds at some places. The eastern wind is expected to blow at a normal and fast speed.

Orange alert issued in these districts of Bihar

Monsoon has become active in entire Bihar including the capital Patna. Monsoon was not that effective in the month of June, but as soon as the month of July started, monsoon has started to come in its full glory. In the past few days, good rain has been witnessed in many districts of the state. On Tuesday, there is a possibility of light rain along with thunder and strong winds in Patna and surrounding areas. At the same time, an orange alert has been issued for very heavy rain in one or two areas of Nalanda, Nawada and Lakhisarai districts. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm during the rain.

There will be heavy rain in these states during the next 24 hours

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains are possible over Northeast India, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, West Uttar Pradesh, North Punjab, North Haryana and Uttarakhand. Apart from these states, light to moderate rains with heavy rains may occur at some places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in coastal West Bengal, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Odisha, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Apart from this, light rain is possible in Ladakh, Rayalaseema, Marathwada and Tamil Nadu.
